Cotswold School Walnut Wardrobe
The Wardrobe: A Cotswold School wardrobe, constructed in English Walnut by Fred Gardiner (1890-1963) c.1948. Fred Gardiner had been an apprentice to Gimson at Daneway and later worked for Peter Waals at Chalford before setting up his own workshop in Oakridge. Provenance.

Condition: Offered in excellent condition.

Betty Joel Walnut Wardrobe
The Wardrobe: A stepped compactum walnut wardrobe by Betty Joel, signed and dated 1929. A central bank of graduating drawers flanked each side by a single door hanging robe. Constructed in solid walnut with a cedar wood lining.

The wardrobe: An Arts & Crafts Cotswold School wardrobe by Gordon Russell c.1925. Labelled. The wardrobe is constructed in solid, well figured, quarter-sawn oak with contrasting bog oak handles. The interior comprises two full length hanging compartments. This wardrobe can be dismantled into 3 parts for ease of movement - overcoming most awkward access ways.

The wardrobe: A limed oak triple wardrobe by Heal & Son c.1925. Three doors to two hanging and one shelved compartments. Labelled. Constructed in well figured quarter sawn oak with contrasting handles. This wardrobe dismantles into three equal pieces for ease of movement and can therefore be placed in rooms with otherwise difficult access.

Heal's Art Deco Burr Maple "Compactum" Wardrobe
The Wardrobe: An English Art Deco burr maple wardrobe by Heal's c.1930. Spectacular burr maple veneers with a contrasting walnut plinth. Smaller than typical wardrobes and ideal for awkward spaces. The wardrobe is part fitted with two drawers and a number of open shelfs. There is a good practical hanging area with a side to side hanging rail. The wardrobe has its original chromed handles, locking bolts and working lock and key.

Heal's Limed Oak Triple Wardrobe
The wardrobe: A spectacular limed oak triple wardrobe by Heal & Son dating c.1925. Ivorine label inset to right hand door. The wardrobe comprises a central double door section with full width shelf over hanging rail. The left hand single door section also comprises a full width shelf over a hanging rail. The right hand single door section comprises four removable shelves. The wardrobe does separate into four components for ease of movement. Original working locks and key.

Condition: Offered in excellent condition. Further images available on request.

Dimensions: The wardrobe stands 72" tall, 73.25" wide and 20.5" deep (all maximums). The internal hanging depths are 19" for the central section and 18.25" for the left hand side section.

The wardrobe: A substantial Arts & Crafts oak wardrobe retailed by Oetzmann & Co (Ivorine labels), Hampstead circa 1900. The wardrobe has wonderful Pewter, copper and fruitwood inlay work to the doors and original bronzed copperware.

Condition: Shown prior to restoration. This wardrobe is offered restored to excellent condition.

Dimensions: The wardrobe stands 84" tall, 82.5" wide (at cornice) and 25" deep (at cornice). The internal depth of the wardrobe is 18" with the doors closed.

Art Deco Burr Maple Triple Wardrobe by Bath Cabinet Makers
The wardrobe: An Art Deco burr maple triple wardrobe with contrasting ebonised plinth, handles and cornice by Bath Cabinet Makers c.1930. Labelled. The wardrobe comprises a single door fitted compartment with shelves, sliding trays, a rack and a door mounted mirror next to a two door double width hanging compartment. This wardrobe does dismantle into four components for ease of movement.

We also have a matching bedhead with bedside cabinets to fit a super king size bed available separately.

Heals Oak Compactum Wardrobe
The wardrobe: A substantial compactum wardrobe by Heals dating from circa 1928. The central triple wardrobe is shown in the Heals catalogue of 1928. Its simple design and reflects the strong influence of Ambrose Heal. The flanking banks of drawers were probably a special commission, there The left hand door reveals a stack of four shelves and the pair of doors to the right open to reveal a hanging rail and shoe rack. The whole piece breaks down into five main components for ease of movement.

The wardrobe: A Cotswold Style oak fitted wardrobe designed by Paul Matt for Brynmawr Furniture c.1930. Labelled. Constructed in ell figured quarter sawn oak. The wardrobe has distinctive bevelled panels to both the front and sides and square wedge shaped handles. Inside the wardrobe has shelving, a long flight of drawer slides and a hanging section.

Condition: Offered in excellent refinished condition.
